RPG was founded in 2002 with the aim of providing a professional property lettings and management service in the East Midlands. Since then we have organically grown to managing in excess of £100m of residential properties throughout the East Midlands. By combining local lettings expertise in branch offices with our centralised property management function, we are able to offer landlords a superior customer service, and a greater range of services. Our aim at RPG is to provide customers with an efficient and superior customer service. We do not have ambitions to be the biggest in the market but we do have ambitions to be the best.
The management team have:
• worked together as a team and have overseen the purchase and management of more than £200 million of residential property throughout the UK on behalf of their clients.
• experience of managing residential property portfolios for a number of clients.
• grown RPG into a leading independent residential property agency business based in the East Midlands.
• a demonstrable and strong track record in the successful identification, negotiation, purchase and management of residential assets in the East Midlands.
Robert is a director of Residential Property Group Ltd. He was a founding shareholder in the company. He attended University at Newcastle before joining Flemings Bank, London in 1994. He was then posted to Flemings Inc, New York in 1996. In 2000 he joined JPMorgan Securities, New York where he held the title of vice president, emerging market equities. In 2002 he established RPG. Robert is responsible for the strategic plan of the company and the overall business infrastructure. His other roles include overseeing portfolio accounting and financial reporting, along with handling the due diligence and legal process involved in property purchases. Robert has extensive experience in both finance and property.
James is a director of Residential Property Group Ltd. He was the other founding shareholder in the company. He attended Cardiff University before joining Meyer International PLC in 1994. He formed part of a management buy-out of the construction material importing and wholesale division in 1998 becoming Product Manager of MLM. In 2001 he completed an MBA at London City University, before establishing RPG in 2002. James is responsible for the strategic plan of the company and his other roles include overseeing the day-to-day operation of the property lettings and management divisions. James has considerable experience in the property management sector.
The Directors are supported by an experienced team of 20 employees with niche skills in lettings, property management, property finding and sales, repairs and maintenance, accounting and administration.
RPG are dedicated to delivering a customer service that has integrity and delivers results. Given the number of units managed and the wide geographical area of expertise, it gives RPG the a competitive advantage over other more local agents. We support improved standards for the industry and tighter regulation and we are members of ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents) and the Property Ombudsman.
